Dr. Camarillo
Dr. Daniel Camarillo is our own home- grown Family Physician. He was born
in East Los Angeles, and grew up in
local neighborhoods.
He went to college at UCLA. While
studying there, he was selected as one
of UCLA’s top students to appear on
Winter issue of UCLA Magazine in 1994.
After a successful undergraduate
career, he entered UCLA School of
Medicine in 1998; which was ranked
number 12 in the nation by U.S. News.
He had a successful career as a medical
student and was bestowed the prestigious William G. Figueroa Award for demonstrating exceptional leadership in promoting excellence in healthcare delivery to underserved communities.
Dr. Camarillo completed his residency in Family Medicine at Presbyterian Intercommunity Hospital.
Dr. Camarillo joined the Caceres Medical Group on August 1, 2006. This year Dr. Camarillo was awarded America’s Top Family Doctor by Consumers Research Council of America.
Dr. Camarillo is “committed to delivering high quality, evidence-based medical care in a culturally competent manner.”
In his spare time, Dr. Camarillo enjoys salsa dancing, collects music, reading historical literature and loves to travel. He also speaks fluent Spanish.
